What we track

  • The site uses PostHog. It counts page views and clicks, and it records visits. What you type is masked, and what you pick in the profile builder is hidden.
  • PostHog keeps a cookie in your browser, so one visitor is counted once. It does not store your IP address, only the rough place the address points to: country, city and postal code.
  • The profile builder counts how many apps and sites you block, never which ones. To sign your profile, the list goes to this site once for each profile. The site does not store it.
  • A second tool, OpenPanel, also counts page views and Mac downloads, and records one visit in ten. What you type is masked there too, and what you pick in the profile builder is left out.
  • Nothing on the iPhone is tracked.
  • The Mac app sends one anonymous event each time a supervision finishes. It holds the app version, the method, and the first number of the iOS version and of the macOS version. Nothing in it names you, your Mac or your iPhone.
  • The Mac app also checks this site for updates once a day.
